2014 Inter Financial Services Cross Country Results

Congratulations to Alan Barnes who came third in the long course race and also to the men’s team of Alan Barnes, Tom Conlon, David Evans and Jack Wilson who came third overall behind a very strong Barclays team and Bank of America ML.

Also congratulations to the men’s vets team of Kevin Tilley, Tom Conlon and Raul Mansukhani who won the vet championship on what were rather wet conditions.  As usual the Bank of England hosted supper after which the club retired to the bar.

16/17 May 2015 Green Belt Relay

We are looking for members to run in a SEAC team for the 2015 Green Belt Relay.  The GBR is a 220 mile race over two days around London using some very scenic footpaths where possible.  It rightly has a reputation as one of the best, fun running weekend events in the South East.  The legs vary from 5 – 13 miles and from pancake flat to very hilly and muddy in a wet year.  A team is 11 runners who have to race on the Saturday and the Sunday.  Each leg involves some navigation too as the marshalling is limited and focused on safety points.  Please let Martin know if you are interested.
