SHORT COURSE:               3½ miles approximately (one lap)

LONG COURSE:                 5¾ miles approximately (two laps)

A hot meal (pie, chips, beans) is included in the entry fee (courtesy of the Inter Financial Services Athletic Association) and bar facilities are available after the race.

Please could you let Andy Mac (Andrew.McLauchlan@gcpuk.com) and myself Alan (alan.barnes@fca.org.uk) know by Friday 20 October  whether you plan to run the  Inter-Financial Services Cross Country Championships on  Wednesday 22 November for the Stock Exchange.

The 2017 Assembly League finished with the customary meet at Beckenham Sports Club.  The SEAC men’s A team came third behind Kent and Vicky Park Harriers while the B team came fourth after Kent, Vicky Park and Dulwich.

On an individual basis Jim Allchin came second in the senior men while Ben Reynolds won the M50 category.

The race this year will be held on Wednesday 21 June starting at 19:30 on the Albert Embankment as usual.  Early entry is advised as the race sells out before its closing date.  The race is a 2.3mile relay for teams of either 3 Ladies or 4 Men/mixed teams.

The first race of the 2017 season will be at Beckenham Cricket Club on 6 April 2017.

Due to roadworks on the usual course the 2016 event had to be switched to the footpath by the O2 Dome.  These are the final results for the event.

As of 25 May we have had 81 entries out of a field limit of 140 open and 40 ladies teams.  If you want to enter we recommend entering soon.  The race has sold out well before its official close in the last few years.

The results from the first race of the 2016 are here.  Some fine runs from Simon Wurr, Alan Barnes, Ben Reynolds  aided by Andy Weir gave us second place on the night behind Kent AC.  The B team came in in fifth place and so the League starts another year.
